Aperam, a stainless steel specialist, presents its latest innovation, grade 316A. Developed within the Aperam Innovation Lab, this version is designed as a cost-effective alternative to grade 316L, while guaranteeing equivalent corrosion resistance. It is distinguished by a 25% reduction in alloying material thanks to a decrease in molybdenum content, without compromising its mechanical performance.

The 316A integrates easily into existing processes, eliminating the need for additional investment. It is available in a wide range of sizes. In addition to its efficiency, it supports decarbonization goals thanks to its high recycled content. Target sectors include HVAC, transportation, and water treatment.
