ANDRITZ Reports Strong Performance in H1 2026
In the first half of 2026, ANDRITZ AG experienced significant growth, with an order intake increase of 25.2%, reaching 5.9 billion EUR. This was supported by high demand for renewable energy sources, electrification, and resource efficiency. The order backlog hit a record 12,602.1 MEUR, marking a 20.5% rise compared to the end of 2025.
Revenue increased by 5.2%, and the comparable EBITA margin improved from 8.3% in H1 2025 to 8.6%. Net income saw a rise to 201.0 MEUR, up 4.9% from the previous year. Growth sectors included Hydropower, Pulp & Paper, and Metals, whereas Environment & Energy showed a slight decline in orders.
Hydropower led with remarkable order intake growth of 81.8%, driven by modernization projects and installations maintaining grid stability. Pulp & Paper reached a notable 8.8% increase, benefiting from Chinese investments in new pulp mills. The Metals sector saw cautious recovery with a 4.3% uplift.
