Amundi Physical Metals Announces New Tranche of Gold ETC Securities
Amundi Physical Metals plc has issued 300,000 Exchange Traded Commodities (ETC) Securities under its Secured Precious Metal Linked ETC Securities Programme. These represent Tranche 869 of the Amundi Physical Gold ETC series. The new tranche brings the aggregate number of ETC Securities in this series to 66,444,237.
The securities, which are backed by physical gold, were launched on 18 June 2026. Each security in the series entitles holders to a metal entitlement of 0.03962134 fine troy ounces. The total expense ratio for these securities is set at 0.12% per annum.
Amundi Physical Metals has applied for the securities to be listed and traded on several major exchanges, including Euronext Paris, Euronext Amsterdam, the Deutsche Börse, Borsa Italiana, the London Stock Exchange, and the Mexican Stock Exchange.
Key players in the issuance include global financial entities such as HSBC Bank plc, Jane Street Financial Limited, and BNP Paribas Arbitrage SNC. The securities are part of Amundi's strategy to provide investment exposure to gold prices.
