Ams OSRAM Completes Partial Repurchase of Convertible Bonds
On January 19, 2026, ams OSRAM, based in Austria and Germany, reported the conclusion of its partial repurchase offer for EUR 760 million in outstanding convertible bonds due in 2027. The company targeted a maximum repurchase amount of EUR 300 million. By the end of the offer period on January 16, 2026, ams OSRAM had acquired bonds worth EUR 199.9 million in principal through a Dutch Auction, offering a repurchase price of 96% per bond. The settlement is expected on January 21, 2026.
Post-settlement, an aggregate principal amount of EUR 560.1 million in bonds will remain active. The bonds are traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. This operation reflects the company's strategic financial management amid global market conditions.
