Amoéba obtains an exemption in the Netherlands for AXPERA
Amoéba, a company specializing in biocontrol, has received an exemption to use its AXPERA product in greenhouse trials in the Netherlands. The Dutch regulatory authority, CTGB, has authorized the use of AXPERA on various crops such as tomatoes and strawberries. This unusual decision allows the consumption of harvests from the trials, contrary to the usual rule of crop destruction.
This approval underscores the safety and efficacy of AXPERA, a fungicide targeting powdery mildew and downy mildew. The Netherlands, a world leader in greenhouse cultivation, represents a strategic market for Amoéba. These large-scale trials aim to demonstrate the product's added value in this demanding market, while strengthening Amoéba's credibility.
