Ameriwest Completes 3D Model Unveiling Copper Zones at Bornite Project
Ameriwest Critical Metals announced the completion of a preliminary 3D geological model for its Bornite Copper-Gold-Silver Project in Oregon. Developed by APEX Geoscience, the model defines a high-grade copper shell and two additional zones, guiding technical work planned for 2026.
The project hosts a deposit featuring copper minerals, mainly bornite and chalcopyrite. A high-grade copper shell with an average of 2.4% Cu surrounds an interior pipe averaging 0.60% Cu, while a Sheeted Vein Zone shows 0.9% Cu. Priority targets for expansion are identified on the southeast and northwest flanks.
Ameriwest will utilize historical drill data, relogging, and new geochemical analysis to assess additional metals and expand the resource base. APEX has pinpointed historical drill holes for relogging to aid future work and strengthen geological interpretations.
