Telco B2B Revenue Losses Highlighted in New Amdocs Research

A recent study by Amdocs reveals that communication service providers (CSPs) are missing out on $24 billion annually in B2B revenue due to inefficiencies. Conducted by Omdia, the research highlights critical issues such as fragmented systems, skill gaps, and process inefficiencies.

The survey, involving over 200 telco B2B leaders, found that more than half of enterprise bids contain errors and one in five proposal requests are late, threatening up to $170 billion in potential new business globally. Significant pain points include internal inefficiencies and a high abandonment rate in digital marketplaces.

Despite these challenges, there is room for improvement. Over half of the surveyed CSPs plan to invest in new tools, systems, and digitalization to bolster their B2B capabilities. Amdocs is set to showcase its solutions at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
