Amdocs Extends Managed Services Agreement with PLDT and Smart
Amdocs has announced a seven-year extension of its managed services agreement with PLDT Inc. and Smart Communications, Inc. This collaboration extends the partnership to further modernize IT operations with advanced technologies, including AI and GenAI, to improve customer experiences.
The agreement enhances Amdocs' role in solution design, implementation, and performance management for PLDT, integrating operations across multi-cloud and on-premises environments. It aims to boost PLDT's operational efficiency and service delivery, reducing overall operational costs.
PLDT CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan emphasized the partnership's role in transforming the Philippines into a digital hub by utilizing AI to provide smarter connectivity and services. Amdocs' expertise in AI-driven technology will support PLDT's efforts to optimize its digital infrastructure.
