Amarc Discovers New Sulphide Mineralized Systems at JOY District
Amarc Resources Ltd. has announced new geophysical survey results revealing major sulphide systems at the JOY Copper-Gold District. The surveys, conducted by AuRORA Minerals Ltd. (AML), focus on expanding three key sulphide systems: NWG, ROE, and White Pass.
The NWG system, host to the AuRORA deposit, expanded from 4.5 km² to 7 km². The newly discovered ROE system, adjacent to NWG, covers 4.5 km² and remains open for further expansion. Additionally, the White Pass system, host to the Brenda deposit, grew from 3.0 km² to 5.0 km².
These findings contribute to the $20 million JOY 2026 exploration program, funded by Freeport-McMoRan. The program aims to explore the extensive copper-gold potential in the Toodoggone Region, British Columbia. Amarc acts as the primary contractor, managing AML's exploration efforts under a services agreement.
