Alset AI Announces 30 MW Expansion in Data Centers Across North America

Alset AI Ventures Inc. recently provided an update on its investment in CHIP Data Centers Inc. CHIP currently operates five sites in North America with 4 MW operational and 26 MW in construction or under contract. The facilities, based in Ontario, Ohio, and Texas, cater to a global off-taker for the next two planned sites in Waterloo. A master services agreement has secured 20 MW of capacity for this client.

CHIP's modular development model has helped it achieve initial cash flow in July 2026, maintaining a focus on scalability and lean operations. Priorities for the coming year include completing the Waterloo sites, acquiring its first U.S. site, and advancing other locations based on demand and power availability. The strategy reinforces Alset's position in the AI-ready infrastructure market, amidst growing demand.
