Alkagesta records record results in the first half of 2026
Maltese energy and commodities trading firm Alkagesta has announced record results for the first half of 2026. Revenues reached $3.5 billion, with trading volumes up 53% to 4.9 million tons. Alkagesta expects volumes to exceed 10 million tons by the end of the year.
Activities in Africa via Alkavex, and those in Asia, particularly from the Singapore hub, contributed to these results. In Singapore, monthly volumes reached approximately 250,000 tonnes, generating $1.01 billion. In parallel, Alkagesta diversified its operations with the entry of Jet A1 into the European market and by launching crude oil transactions to the Far East.
Alkagesta is also strengthening its presence in the Mediterranean region from Malta, consolidating its trading and logistics network.
