Alibaba Cloud Expands European Presence with New Facilities in France

Alibaba Cloud, a prominent provider of AI infrastructure under Alibaba Group, has announced the inauguration of its cloud region in France. This new development features two availability zones in Paris, serving the growing demand across multiple sectors like retail and AI-driven platforms. The French facilities join Alibaba's existing infrastructure in Germany and the UK, marking its third hub in Europe.

Alibaba Cloud offers a range of enterprise-grade cloud services, ensuring compliance with European data privacy and cybersecurity standards. This expansion extends Alibaba Cloud's network to 105 availability zones in 32 regions worldwide, emphasizing its commitment to digital innovation.

The company is set to introduce a suite of agentic AI services in Europe later this year, aiming to enhance enterprise-scale agent development and operation.
