Algo Grande Advances Phase II Drilling at Cerro Grande
Algo Grande Copper Corp. has initiated drilling on Hole AG_CG_PH2_003, known as Hole 3, at the Cerro Grande skarn target within its Adelita Project in Sonora, Mexico. Positioned 100 metres from the Phase I discovery hole, Hole 3 is set to reach a depth of 450 metres. Its aim is to confirm known skarn horizons and explore additional horizons in untested limestone.
Drilling of Hole AG_CG_PH2_002, or Hole 2, has progressed to 300 metres of a 700-metre total target. Core samples containing copper are being sent to ALS Laboratories for analysis. Results from this are expected in future updates. Using a second drill rig, the company's efforts in Phase II target both the expansion of horizons identified in Phase I and the discovery of new ones.
With these actions, the company attempts to solidify its resource interpretation, focusing on lateral and vertical expansion potentials.
