AKWEL Reports EUR 10.5M Net Income in First Half of 2026
AKWEL, a key player in automotive systems and equipment, announced a net income of EUR 10.5 million for the first half of 2026. The company's revenue reached EUR 415 million, marking an 18.7% decrease compared to the previous year. The dip is attributed to reduced production volumes and project delays in a tumultuous global market.
The current operating margin stands at 4.3%, a slight decline from 5.4% the previous year. Despite challenges, AKWEL maintained controlled profitability through efficiency gains, cost base adjustments, and effective inventory management.
The restated net cash was EUR 123.7 million at the end of June 2026, influenced by higher inventories and capital expenditures. Looking ahead, AKWEL forecasts a revenue decline of 12% to 15% for the full year amidst ongoing market uncertainties.
