Air Liquide Issues €500 Million Green Bond for Energy Transition

Air Liquide has successfully issued a €500 million green bond to support energy transition projects. This new bond aligns with the company's ADVANCE strategic plan, aiming to enhance both financial and extra-financial performance. The proceeds will fund flagship initiatives in low-carbon hydrogen and air gases.
Marked by significant investor interest, this bond is part of Air Liquide's Euro Medium Term Note programme. It offers a 10-year maturity at a yield of 3.570% and will be rated "A" by Standard & Poor's and Scope Ratings, and "A2" by Moody's.
Group CFO Jérôme Pelletan highlighted the bond issuance as a sign of investor confidence amidst market uncertainties. He emphasized its role in supporting transformative projects for energy transition. This marks the third green bond by Air Liquide, following successful issuances in 2021 and 2024.
