AGRANA Sees Remarkable EBIT Surge Despite Revenue Dip in Q1 2026/27
AGRANA Beteiligungs-Aktiengesellschaft reported a notable increase in earnings for Q1 2026/27. EBIT soared to €35.4 million, a 521.1% rise from €5.7 million in Q1 2025/26, despite a 2.8% decline in revenue to €855.3 million. The EBIT margin improved to 4.1% from 0.6% previously.
The Food & Beverage Solutions segment maintained stable revenue at €448.7 million, though EBIT slightly decreased due to reduced contribution margins in beverages. The ACS – Starch segment saw a significant EBIT rise to €10.4 million, attributed to improved ethanol margins, while the ACS – Sugar segment reduced losses to €–2.7 million, aided by cost savings and stable sugar prices.
AGRANA expects a significant EBIT increase for 2026/27, with a slight revenue growth projected and cost-saving measures aimed at €110 million annually under the AGRANA NEXT LEVEL strategy.
