AGRANA Plans Acquisition of Esarom to Enhance Beverage Solutions

AGRANA, an Austrian group specializing in food and beverage solutions, announced its intention to acquire esarom, a company known for its flavor and beverage solutions. This acquisition aims to strengthen AGRANA’s Food & Beverage Solutions platform, aligning with the company's strategy to offer high-quality customer solutions and drive growth.

Esarom, founded in 1946, has expertise in developing flavors, emulsions, and functional blends. The company generated €112 million in 2025, with an enterprise value of approximately €150 million. The integration of esarom will boost AGRANA’s production and market capabilities, particularly in regions like Central America and Asia.

The acquisition is pending anti-trust approvals, expected to complete at the start of the 2027/28 financial year. AGRANA hopes to combine expertise to create innovative solutions and value for customers in the food and beverage sectors.
