AGRANA Maintains Full-Year Forecast Amid Market Challenges

AGRANA Beteiligungs-Aktiengesellschaft, a producer of food and industrial products, confirms its forecast for the 2025/26 financial year. Despite a 7.9% revenue drop to €2,494 million and a slight 5.3% EBIT decline to €48.4 million in the first nine months, AGRANA expects significant full-year EBIT growth. The Food & Beverage Solutions (FBS) segment, crucial to this outlook, witnessed notable EBIT growth to €89.8 million.

However, revenue dipped in AGRANA's ACS - Starch and Sugar segments due to reduced sales volumes and prices. The Sugar segment reported an 18% EBIT decline, attributed to significant price pressure and restructuring costs. The company anticipates a considerable EBIT increase for the full year, while projecting a moderate revenue decrease and investing approximately €100 million.
