Adria News S.à r.l. Launches Adria News Network in Southeast Europe
On February 19, 2026, Adria News S.à r.l. launched the Adria News Network (ANN), an independent brand aimed at Southeast Europe, headquartered in Luxembourg. ANN consolidates leading television, print, and digital news brands from countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia under a new governance model that emphasizes editorial independence.
The framework ensures that all news outlets report to an independent Board without influence from United Group executives or shareholders. Chaired by Rani R. Raad, the Board includes media veterans such as Nigel Baker and Brent Sadler. The focus is on maintaining editorial integrity and independent journalism across the network's operations.
This governance model aims to safeguard journalistic freedom and provide stability across ANN's extensive media portfolio, supporting over 1,000 journalists and reaching more than 16 million viewers.
