Adler Group and PAUL Tech to Implement Climate-Friendly Heating in Berlin

Adler Group and PAUL Tech AG have entered into a partnership to provide climate-friendly heating for 17,500 residential and commercial units in Berlin. This initiative is set to be rolled out over the next two years, beginning in summer 2026. The project is part of a long-term framework agreement where PAUL Tech will oversee the planning, installation, and operation of the heating systems for a period of 15 years.

The new systems will utilize PAUL Net Zero, a platform combining efficient heat pump technology with AI for energy optimization. This transition aims to reduce CO₂ emissions and improve energy efficiency, aiming for a sustainable heating solution that decreases reliance on fossil fuels like natural gas and heating oil.

Adler Group's leadership, including CEO Dr. Karl Reinitzhuber, emphasizes the importance of this project in enhancing their Berlin portfolio's value by improving tenant services through digitalization. PAUL Tech’s CEO, Sascha Müller, highlights this project as a model for large-scale implementation of climate-friendly heating in existing buildings, aligning with Berlin's climate objectives.
