EMA Approves Extended Shelf-Life for MASIVET® by AB Science
AB Science has announced that the European Medicine Agency (EMA) has approved a four-year shelf-life for its veterinary drug, MASIVET®. Previously, the 50mg tablet had a shelf-life of 36 months. This extension applies across all European Union countries where the medicine is available.
MASIVET® is used to treat certain non-resectable dog mast cell tumors. The approval allows AB Science to better manage inventory levels and reduce product expiration risks. This decision aims to enhance the availability and continuity of treatment, ensuring veterinarians can offer effective care to their patients.
