ABEO Experiences H1 2026/27 Revenue Stability Amid Mixed Market Conditions
ABEO, a global leader in sports and leisure equipment, reported stable revenue of €138 million for the first half of FY 2026/27, down 9.2% on a like-for-like basis. Order intake increased by 6% as of September 30, 2026, indicating a strong sales momentum despite challenges in North American and French markets.
The Sports division saw a 13.1% growth in Q2, benefiting from recent acquisitions like Hurricane in the urban sports sector and significant contributions from VOGO. However, the Sportainment & Climbing division faced setbacks, with revenues falling 29.2%, primarily due to reduced investments in climbing walls.
Meanwhile, the Changing Rooms division managed to limit its decline to 9%, aided by logistical improvements in Germany. ABEO's strategic optimization plan aims to align its cost structure with business levels, hoping for a rebound in the second half.
