Abasca Resources Reports Notable Graphite Intersection Results at Loki Flake Zone
Abasca Resources Inc. has disclosed assay results from 14 drillholes at the Loki Flake Graphite Zone, part of the Key Lake South Project. This area, featuring a 600 m section, is drilled on a 100 m x 100 m grid. The zone remains open for further exploration. Highlights include a 60 m intersection at 9.01% Cg in hole KLS-24-043, with portions reaching up to 21.05% Cg.
The 2024 summer program, totaling 5,499 m, revealed graphite mineralization consistent with geologic interpretations. Brian McEwan, Vice-President of Exploration, recognizes the significance and potential of this emerging graphite zone. Samples have undergone tests at accredited labs for composition analysis.
Looking forward, metallurgical testing and further exploration this year aim to expand the resource estimate. This project's results support Saskatchewan's mineral production strategy.
