AATec Medical to Unveil ATL-105 Data at 2026 Conference

AATec Medical GmbH, based in Munich, has announced it will share preclinical findings for ATL-105, its leading candidate, at the World Bronchiectasis Conference in June 2026. The data focuses on ATL-105's efficacy as a multimodal treatment for non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis (NCFB).

ATL-105, a new recombinant alpha-1 antitrypsin, targets neutrophil serine proteases and inflammatory mediators. The preclinical data show high activity in reducing bacterial virulence and modulating inflammation. Successful nebulization data further supports its inhaled application.

The company plans to initiate a Phase 1/2 trial by the end of 2026, aligning its strategy with EU and US regulators. According to Dr. Rüdiger Jankowsky, CEO of AATec, ATL-105 addresses multiple NCFB disease drivers, offering a promising treatment strategy in a field affecting over three million people in Western countries.
