2G Energy AG Adjusts 2025 Forecast Amid Challenges
2G Energy AG has revised its sales revenue forecast for 2025, setting it at EUR 380 to 400 million, down from a previous projection of EUR 430 to 440 million. This adjustment reflects a growth of up to 7% compared to last year, despite recent setbacks. The reduction in forecast is attributed to delays in orders from Eastern Europe and temporary service declines linked to an ERP changeover in Germany.
The expected EBIT margin is now 6.5 to 8.0%, reduced from 8.5 to 9.5%. Challenges include reduced sales volumes and one-off ERP-related expenses. Despite these hurdles, 2G Energy remains optimistic, with third-quarter orders outside Ukraine up 30% year-over-year.
The outlook for 2026 remains stable, with a sales forecast of EUR 440 to 490 million and an EBIT margin of 9.0 to 11.0%. Future growth is anticipated in the data center markets in Europe and North America, supported by Germany’s biomass initiatives.
