1&1 AG Adjusts 2025 EBITDA Forecast
1&1 AG has revised its EBITDA forecast for 2025, estimating it at approximately €545 million, down from a previous forecast of €571 million. This adjustment is primarily influenced by increased wholesale costs associated with national roaming agreements with Vodafone, impacting the Access segment's EBITDA, now anticipated at €810 million, reduced from €836 million.
The adjustments arise from higher-than-expected data usage on Vodafone's network by 1&1 customers, necessitating increased capacity purchasing. These additional outlays are partially counterbalanced by savings elsewhere. Meanwhile, the Mobile Network segment's EBITDA remains static at approximately -€265 million.
Despite these changes, the contract portfolio, service revenue, and cash capex projections are expected to remain constant at their 2024 levels, with service revenue holding steady at €3,303.1 million and investments at around €450 million.
