 Düsseldorf, 9 August 2022 – “SPIRIT Germany”, the supplier of 100% organic and 100% vegan drinks is the local main sponsor for Europe’s biggest music event, the MTV EMAs 2022 in Germany. With this, the core brand of the German-Swiss functional food expert Biohacks is stepping into the European limelight to massively increase its profile. Especially as “SPIRIT Germany” is the exclusive brand partner of the prestigious MTV Europe Best German Act. The music event, which will be broadcast in over 170 countries across 450 million households worldwide, will take place in Düsseldorf on 13 November 2022. Top acts from the international music and entertainment business will be performing live and accepting their prizes in a variety of categories. “SPIRIT Germany” and Biohacks will be visible throughout the event, during the show, in apparel for the crews and staff, and in catering. In addition, all media channels will be covered: live on site, on TV, digitally, and in MTV advertising campaigns around the event. Another highlight are the ticket raffles planned by Biohacks in the pre-event stages, which will be run via a variety of media partners.

“Open your Spirit” is thus communicated as the central brand message of “SPIRIT Germany” within the framework of the MTV EMAs, which were first held in 1994. “SPIRIT Germany” represents a new and contemporary attitude, particularly that of sustainability and a healthier lifestyle, and thus appeals perfectly to the current needs in terms of sustainability, health and lifestyle of the core target groups of 18 to 35 year-olds. The company thus clearly stands out as a healthy alternative to the well-known energy drinks of its competitors. In addition to the already established three flavours Mango & Cactus, Berry & Orange as well as Lime & Kiwi, there are now two new flavours in the product range just in time for the 2022 summer season: Peach & Passion and Orange & Granate.

The Swiss-German Biohacks belongs to an internationally renowned group of private equity investors and aims to play a leading role in the dynamically growing functional food segment. The total functional food market is expected to grow by an average of 7 to 12% to more than 268 billion US dollars by 2027. The “SPIRIT Germany” drinks are already available in around 3,000 retail chain stores such as Tegut, Kaufland, Budni and Edeka, as well as JET and Orlen petrol stations in Germany. In addition, the drinks are also distributed in 600 outlets of the market leaders SPAR International and Billa in Austria since the 2nd quarter of 2022. In Switzerland, the company is also in the advanced stages of negotiations to launch the distribution with well-known partners before the end of 2022. This will enable Biohacks to further accelerate its course of growth, which started in 2020.
