AROUNDTOWN ANNOUNCES INCLUSION IN NEW DAX 50 ESG INDEX AS HIGHEST ESG RANKED REAL ESTATE CONSTITUENT AND 10TH AMONG ALL CONSTITUENTS

A new DAX index focused on sustainability was launched which takes environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria into account and highlights the 50 top companies regarding their ESG performance, market capitalization and stock exchange turnover. Aroundtown SA ('Aroundtown') has been included into the new DAX 50 ESG index and has the highest ESG raking among the real estate members of the index and the 10th highest ESG raking among all members of the index. The inclusion underlines Aroundtown's long-standing and strong commitment to sustainability, which is further reflected by the high scores it has consistently received by Sustainalytics a leading global provider of ESG ratings which provides the ESG scoring for the DAX 50 ESG index ranking. With the new DAX 50 ESG index DAX wants to set a new benchmark for ESG investments in Germany.
